Does any body know a good pre paid or post paid mobile broadband company?

I will be using the mobile broadband it for check emails and surf the net.

It all depends on where you wnat to sue the broadband. if it is in the CBD, try Amaysim. they use the Optus coverage.

Before you buy check for COVERAGE first and then it depends on how much you want to spend, So do a bit of research first on the different companies/providers to see what you get for your money.

Truth be told they are not so blazingly fast as i use the Optus prepaid mobile in the Northern Beaches of Cairns and its good enough for my e-mail and surfing. For $130 i get 15 Gigabyte to use in 1 year.

I've been very satisfied with my monthly Virgin mobile wireless acount, which includes a superfast modem and 10 GB of data per month. It costs $39.00 per month, but I get $5 off for bundling it with my mobile phone account.

Virgin uses the Optus Network, so check to make sure it can access GSM and/or 3G. The Modem will use the faster speed and in my area that is usually 3G, but if there is heavy traffic it may slow down to 2G (GSM), but still it's brilliantly fast.

Update: Virgin now advertises $39.00 for 12 GB of data per month. BYO USB wireless modem or Wi-Fi modem and there's no contract. Get a new modem through them for no extra charge, but a fixed contract of 12 months. Mobile broadband has its problems, but you can use it anywhere. Nonetheless, I'm looking at getting naked ADSL2+ broadband, if available in my region. Regional plans not as good as in the capital cities, unfortunately.
