laptop won't play youtube videos

As soon we click on a youtube video the laptop switches itself off
There is no error sign it just goes black. And to restart we have to push and hold the start button
laptop has windows 7 internet explorer9 Ram 2gb processer i3
Please help to fix it thanks

The first thing I'd do is make sure I have the latest version of Adobe Flash on your system.

You can grab it from here - http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ - and then, I'd give it another go.

I'd also be trying other videos too (do you have any video clips you can load onto the notebook?) just to see if it's a wider problem.

But I'd update Flash as a first point of call.

I had the same problem bot with my touch screen laptop and my 3d laptop. I resolved the issue by ebsuring I had the latest version of Adobe Flash on my system. Tell us if you resolve the problem or if you need further help. - Anne
