What has Apple Done.....

Hi PC User Team & PC User Readers. . . Unless people have been living in the outback, with no communication with the outside world, iOS 5 has been out for over a month. For over a month, people with iDevices have had issues with their battery's, that has been linked to a Software problem. Within the last week, iOS 5.0.1 has been released to fix this issue, as well as some minor issues.
Before i had upgraded to the latest iOS (iOS 5.0.1 at time of typing), my iPhone 4 Battery had taken a minor hit with iOS 5. I took the plunge to upgrade to the lastest iOS this morning, 16-11-11 in WA. the upgrade was applied no problems, it was all done whilst my phone was still plugged in.

I took my Phone off carge at 7:56 AM (might want to take note here)
within 30 minutes, i lost 4% of my Battery. I rebooted, tinking it was a minor fault from not rebooting when the update was first applied.

My phone died at 5:12 this afternoon. 2 hours of light web browsing on 3G, 3-5 bars of Service. 2.5 hours of music playing lightly through the headphones. and 20 minutes of only Notes open. No apps were open as i cleared the Multitasking bar before i opened Notes.

Somehow, i think i have now got a Battery issue from the update. My phone was bought on the 14th of October this year, so it shouldnt be buggered yet.

Is anyone else having Battery Issues with iOS 5.x.x?
would love to hear about it. Maybe Apple might replace batterys or do a better software patch this time round.

Running iOS5 for a couple of weeks now - no issues. Had my iPhone 4 for about a year now.

Apple has apparently since acknowledged that the fix hasn't worked for everyone...

So I don't think it's just your device.

Cheers, Darren.
