How to uninstall UserOS HomeServer

I would like to uninstall UserOS HomeServer 12.03 from a old laptop,what would be the best way to do it?

Will the laptop be returned to it's normal state?

The state of the laptop after 'uninstalling' UserOS HomeServer 12.03 depends upon the installation method chosen.
Replace or dual boot.

If you did replace the original windows OS, then there is no need to uninstall UserOS HomeServer 12.03, simply re-format the hard-drive in NTFS or fat32 and install a fresh windows OS

If you installed it to dual boot, then uninstalling UserOS HomeServer 12.03 and repairing the windows boot loader should re-instate the original windows.

The degree of difficulty in fixing the windows loader depends upon the Windows OS - it is different for windows 95, windows xp and windows 7.

A search using a phrase such as uninstall ubuntu dual boot should return a wealth of information and advice.
