The problem is that it's hard enough and time consuming enough to get one of these OSs built, let alone two. I just don't have sufficient time to build two versions.
That said, we have been tossing up for some time whether to switch from 32-bit to 64-bit but we know that it will knock many older systems on the head that don't support 64-bit.
So, readers, if you want a 64-bit OS, now's the time to tell us. If there's enough of a rumble, we'll look into it.
UserOS Home Server is a 32-bit operating system so it can't fully address the full 4GB of RAM your system has. Its the same issue with 32-bit Windows.
Cherrs, Darren.
Will version 11.10 of Home Server due out in a month or so be 64-bit/32-bit or just 32-bit?
It'll be 32-bit only.
