Until my computer(XP Pro sp3) died on a update I could open and view an emailed pdf file, zoom in on a particular part of it and print that image. Since having to format my hard drive I loaded Adobe Reader X but it won't do that anymore, I can zoom in but it won't print the zoomed image. I don't know what program I was using for this, does anyone know of a program I can use. I have to do this quite often so need a simple way to do it. I have a Brother MFC240C. When I printed before the window would have the info for printing .. All pages,.. This page,..Current view. The current view is the one I used to use. Can anyone help? Thanks. Kim Farmer

You don't remember which PDF reader you were using? Maybe try a different PDF reader - possibly Foxit or Nitro.
Just be careful of any extra bundled toolbars or apps in the installer.
Cheers, Darren.
Thanks Darren, but I was not using either Foxit or Nitro before. I really need to be able to print from a zoomed image in a PDF file, do you know if Foxit or Nitro will do this. I am not experienced enough to muck around too much by myself. Thanks. Kim
Hi, you actually said you didn't know what program you used, but Adobe ReaderX does have that option to print All or Current View or Current Page.
You might need to check the setting for Page Scaling which is normally Shrink to printable Area.
To be sure you are in fact using Adobe Reader and not something else, don't double click the pdf file but just open Adobe Reader from All Programs and then go to File/open and find the pdf.
Thanks Reg, problem solved thanks to the confidence you gave me to try myself. Cheers. Kim
When I first found out about this sort of thing, I was lost in a world of technical Jargon. However, once I discovered the psprint gift code in tandem with other online systems, things became a whole lot easier.
