HomeServer 12.03

Hi Darren.
I have installed HomeServer 12.03 successfully on an MSI U90 notebook. All good - working fine - no problems with the install.
My question: Being new to 'servers', I have a problem uploading files TO the server using FileZilla. I can download FROM the server but cannot upload. FileZilla issues an 'Error' 550 permission denied. I've setup all the sharing requirements for the folders on the server and can access them from my Windows 7 desktop. Don't quite know where to go to from here?
Also, I would like you to do an article on using the server to host a personal website - I think that would be great for readers interested in doing that?
