I'm at lost trying to install or create a Installer USB.
Creating a DVD is no problem an running it in try out mode, but when installing HomeServer on a 64G USB Stick it want start up and hangs on "Checking for running unattended upgrades" no matter how long I leave it running nothing happens. Have reinstalled on to the USB stick a number of times from the DVD but every time the same result.
Trying to make a USB installer seams to work fine ,till on restart, it wont boot, sit there for hours with out any movements after the initial few light flickers. USB installer is 4G.
Tried to install Virtual PC on a Toshiba Satellite 100 running Vista Home Premium no go, message CPU is not good enough.
Installing on a Lenovo G570 running Win7 worked without a problem.
Any advise what this old Fellow is doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Try removing the network connection and doing updates after the install manually. It's really important you read through the feature story in the mag because it gives some extra tips on how to use it, page-63-64.
Cheers, Darren.
