Registration instructions

How to install and register the full versions on PC User's cover disc
You'll find instructions on how to register each full version below. To install each full version, go back that program's page on PC User's cover disc, scroll down and click on the program's installation button.

Warning:
Please register the full versions as soon as you can, because the software companies' registration sites are active for a limited time only. Also, be sure to save or print out the registration codes and keep them in a safe place, so that you have the codes on hand if you have to reinstall the software in the future.

December 2009

Ashampoo Burning Studio 2010
Ensuring you are connected to the Internet, install Burning Studio 2010 -- during the installation process make sure "Get full version key" is checked, and your Web browser will go straight to the registration site. Here, enter a valid email address in the form provided. A registration code will then be sent to that email address. (If you don't receive the email please check your junk email folder, as these emails are sometimes picked up by spam filters). Launch Burning Studio 2010 and you'll be greeted with a registration splash screen -- just click on the "Enter Key" option, add the code from the email and your full version will be unlocked. (This splash screen also gives you the option to get the registration key, if you missed this option during installation).

Legal Toolbox SME Basic
Click here to go to Legal Toolbox registration web page. Complete your details, ensuring you enter a valid email address. A password will then be sent to that email address. (If you don't receive the email please check your junk email folder, as these emails are sometimes picked up by spam filters). When you have completed the online registration form, you will be taken to a page with a Download link on it. Click the link to download the Viewer software and then install it on your computer. When you run the software you will be prompted to enter your email address and password. Once this is done you can use the application. Remember that this is software as a service (SAAS), so although you need the Viewer software installed on your PC, you will need to be connected to the web to use the main application.

PC Tools Internet Security 2009
Go to the PC Tools Internet Security page on the PC User cover disc and take note of the Coupon (Promotion) Code. Now click here to go to the PC Tools registration web page. Enter your details in the registration form, ensuring you enter a valid email address and the coupon/promotion code from the PC User cover disc, then click “Request Free License”. An email from PC Tools detailing your licence name and license code instructions will be sent to that email address. Now install PC Tools Internet Security from the PC User cover disc, then run the program and click the “Register” button on the main screen. On the Registration screen, enter the licence name and licence code received in your email from PC Tools and click the “Register” button.

Ashampoo Cover Studio 1.01
Ensuring you are connected to the Internet, install Ashampoo Cover Studio 1.01 -- during the installation process make sure "Get full version key" is checked, and your Web browser will go straight to the registration site. Here, enter a valid email address in the form provided. A registration code will then be sent to that email address. (If you don't receive the email please check your junk email folder, as these emails are sometimes picked up by spam filters). Then launch Ashampoo Cover Studio 1.01. You'll be greeted with a registration splash screen -- just click on the "Enter Key" option, add the code from the email and your full version will be unlocked. (This splash screen also gives you the option to get the registration key, if you missed this option during installation).

B-free Small Business
Click here to go to the B-free registration web page and complete the registration form, ensuring you enter a valid email address in the form provided. A registration code will then be sent to that email address. (If you don't receive the email please check your junk email folder, as these emails are sometimes picked up by spam filters). This same web page contains a link to a small download for the software required to access B-free. Download and install it. Then launch B-free and you will be greeted with a registration splash screen -- enter the code from the email and go ahead and complete the online registration process. Remember that B-free is software as a service (SAAS), so it is run from the web, not your computer, and you will need to be connected to the internet to use it.

i.on my business
Click here to go to the i.on my business registration web page and complete the registration form, ensuring you enter a valid email address in the form provided. An organisation code, user name and password will then be sent to that email address. (If you don't receive the email please check your junk email folder, as these emails are sometimes picked up by spam filters). In the email is a link to the business login page for your business. Click the link and enter your username and password. Remember that i.on my business is software as a service (SAAS), so it is run from the web, not your computer, and you will need to be connected to the interest to use it.

PC Tools Internet Security 2009
Go to the PC Tools Internet Security page on the PC User cover disc and take note of the Coupon (Promotion) Code. Now click here to go to the PC Tools registration web page. Enter your details in the registration form, ensuring you enter a valid email address and the coupon/promotion code from the PC User cover disc, then click “Request Free License”. Now install PC Tools Internet Security from the PC User cover disc, then run the program and click the “Register” button on the main screen. On the Registration screen, enter the licence name and licence code received in your email from PC Tools and click the “Register” button.

PC User Ripping & Burning Toolbox and PC User Perfect PC
No registration required, just install from our cover disc and enjoy!

Warning:
Please register the full versions quickly, because we cannot provide codes after the registration sites have expired. Don't forget to save or print out the registration codes and keep them in a safe place.

WebSite X5 Smart 8
Go to the WebSite X5 Smart page on the PC User cover disc and take note of the Registration Code. Ensuring you are connected to the Internet, install WebSite X5 Smart from the cover disc – be sure to select the Install Registered Version option and then, at the product registration step, click the Unlock button. You will be taken to a registration website – type in your email address and click Send. This will take you a second web page – complete your details, including confirming your email address, type in the Registration Code from the PC User cover disc into the Product Code field, and click Send. An Unlock Code will then be sent to that email address. (If you don't receive the email please check your junk email folder, as these emails are sometimes picked up by spam filters). Copy and paste the Unlock Code from the email into WebSite X5 Smart's installation screen and click Next to unlock the full version. When you have installed and launched the WebSite X5 Smart DO NOT click the Upgrade option. This will install a limited trial version over the top of your registered version. If this were to happen, uninstall the program and reinstall it.

Ashampoo Uninstaller 3
Ensuring you are connected to the Internet, install Ashampoo Uninstaller 3 from the PC User cover disc. During the install process you will see a checkbox entitled "Get Full Version Key". Click this and your Web browser will go straight to the registration site. Here, enter a valid email address in the form provided. A registration code will then be sent to that email address. (If you don't receive the email please check your junk email folder, as these emails are sometimes picked up by spam filters). When the program is installed, launch it and choose Enter Key in the dialog that appears, enter the key into the dialog and click Save Key. When your key will be validated, unlocking the full version.

NEO Free
Ensuring you are connected to the Internet, install NEO from the PC User cover disc. During the installation process you will see an option to "Get NEO Free Licence" – click on this button, and you will be taken to a registration website. Type your First Name, Last Name and Email address, and click the Get License button. This will automatically unlock your licence for the free version of NEO.

PC Tools Internet Security 2009
Go to the PC Tools Internet Security page on the PC User cover disc and take note of the Promotion/Coupon Code. Now click here to go to the PC Tools registration web page. Enter your details in the registration form, ensuring you enter a valid email address and the promotion/coupon code from the PC User cover disc, then click “Request Free License”. An email from PC Tools detailing your licence name and license code instructions will be sent to that email address. Now install PC Tools Internet Security from the PC User cover disc, then run the program and click the “Register” button on the main screen. UserOS Extreme 9.04 and PC User Virtual Machine Shop
No registration is required, but make sure you read the tutorial on page 34 of this month's PC User before installing our operating system.

Windows 7 Release Candidate
Registration and installation instructions are included on the Windows 7 RC page on this month's cover disc. Make sure you carefully read these instructions, and the Windows 7 feature on page 54 on this month's PC User, before installing Windows 7 RC. Ensuring you are connected to the Internet, install TuneUp Utilities 2008 from our cover disc. When you run the program the first time you will see a dialog box inviting you to click to "Enter Product Key". Click this and when the dialog opens type this as your Product Key: LLYLB-ASGHK-ANKTM-DBYKS-QXQMT-ESRYC. Click OK to register and you can continue to use the program.

Here, enter a valid email address in the form provided. A registration code will then be sent to that email address. Click the Enter Key button and enter the key into the dialog and click OK. When your key is validated you can continue to use the program.

QuickBooks 2009/10
Go to http://www.quicken.com.au/pcuser/ and choose which version of QuickBooks you want to try, and click one of the appropriate buttons: "QB EasyStart free trial", "QB Plus free trial" or "QB Premier free trial". You will need to fill in the form entirely, then click "Download Trial". Your Trial Key will be shown on the next page. Print out or cut-and-paste the key into a document to refer to later (and keep as a backup). Please note: you don't need to actually download the software because it's on our cover disc this month. Go back to PC User's cover DVD and install the QuickBooks trial, using the Trial Key provided in the registration process.

Internet Cleaner and Tracks Eraser Software
No registration required, but please note this program is for Windows Vista only.

PC User CPUmon, PC User FlashFormatXP and PC User PerfectPC
No registration required, just install from our cover disc and enjoy!

UltraISO
Ensuring you are connected to the Internet, install UltraISO from our cover disc. When you run the program the first time you will see a dialog inviting you to click to "Enter Registration Code". Click the and when the dialog opens type this as the Name: PC User readers. Then add the password as indicated on the UltraISO page on our June cover disc. Please note: unfortunately, there is a digit missing from this password on the cover disc. Use the key as provided and add an '8' to the end. Sorry for the inconvenience.

When you run the program the first time you will see a dialog inviting you to click to get a "Free Ful lVersion Key". Click this and your Web browser will go straight to the registration site. Click the Enter Key button and enter the key into the dialog and click OK. When your key is validated you can continue to use the program.

Serif PhotoPlus 9
First, install Serif PhotoPlus. Then, make sure you are connected to the Internet, and when you launch Serif PhotoPlus a spash screen will prompt you to register. Click the Register Now link, fill in your details and click Continue. Make sure you enter a valid email address because your registration key will be sent to that email address. (If you don't receive the email please check your junk email folder, as these emails are sometimes picked up by spam filters). When you receive the email with the registration code, open it and copy the key from the email and paste it into the box on the PhotoPlus splash screen and click Continue. Once you're registered, your copy of Serif PhotoPlus is ready to use.

Bullguard Internet Security
Ensuring you are connected to the Internet, install Bullguard Internet Security. When you run the program the first time you will see a dialog inviting you to Register the software. Enter a valid email address in the form provided and click Register. You will then see a second form showing you your password. Click Finish and you can continue to use the program. You will receive an email with your registration details as well. (If you don't receive the email please check your junk email folder, as these emails are sometimes picked up by spam filters).

Click the Register Now link, fill in your details and click Continue. Make sure you enter a valid email address because your registration key will be sent to that email address. When you receive the email with the registration code, open it and copy the key from the email and paste it into the box on the PagePlus splash screen and click Continue.

Zoner Photo Studio Express 11
Ensuring you are connected to the Internet, install Zoner Photo Studio Express 11 from the cover disc. During the install process you will see a link to get a licence code -- click it and your Web browser will go straight to the registration site. Here, enter your name and a valid email address in the form provided. A registration code will then be sent to that email address. (If you don't receive the email please check your junk email folder, as these emails are sometimes picked up by spam filters). Copy and paste the registration number from the email and paste it into the dialog. Click 'Apply Your Code' and then accept the licence agreement. When your registration number is validated, the full version of Zoner Photo Studio Express will be unlocked.

Ashampoo Photo Commander 6
First, make sure you are connected to the Internet. Now install Ashampoo Photo Commander 6 from the PC User cover disc. During the install process you will see a checkbox entitled "Get Full Version Key". Click this and your Web browser will go straight to the registration site. Here, enter a valid email address in the form provided. A registration code will then be sent to that email address. (If you don't receive the email please check your junk email folder, as these emails are sometimes picked up by spam filters). When the program is installed, launch it and choose Internet > Switch to Full Version for Free. Click the button entitled "Enter the code you received" and enter the key into the dialog and click OK. When your key is validated the full version will be unlocked.

Serif MediaPlus 2
First, install Serif MediaPlus. Then, make sure you are connected to the Internet, and when you launch Serif MediaPlus a spash screen will prompt you to register. Select the Click Here button and fill in your details and click Continue. Make sure you enter a valid email address because your registration key will be sent to that email address. (If you don't receive the email please check your junk email folder, as these emails are sometimes picked up by spam filters). When you receive the email with the registration code, open it and copy the key from the email and paste it into the box on the MediaPlus splash screen and click Continue.

POKATreader Executive 1.3
With your web browser, visit http://pokat.net/pokat?publish=PCUser and fill in the online form, ensuring you enter a valid email address. Confirm your email address as instructed in the first email from Pokat, then a second Pokat email will be sent to you with the activation key/serial number. (If you don't receive these emails please check your junk email folder, as this type of email is sometimes picked up by spam filters). Ensuring you are still online, install POKATreader Executive from the PC User cover disc (note that if you don't have Java installed, POKATreader will automatically download and install that too). Now run POKATreader Executive and click "Register" in the first registration screen, which will take you to registration wizard. Cut and paste the serial number from the second Pokat email into the serial number field in the registration wizard.

February 2009

Ashampoo Photo Optimizer 2
Ensuring you are connected to the Internet, install Ashampoo Photo Optimizer 2 from the PC User cover disc. During the install process you will see a checkbox entitled "Get FullVersion Key". Click this and your Web browser will go straight to the registration site. Here, enter a valid email address in the form provided. A registration code will then be sent to that email address. (If you don't receive the email please check your junk email folder, as these emails are sometimes picked up by spam filters). When the program is installed, launch it and choose 'Enter Key' and enter the key into the dialog and click OK. Your full version of Photo Optimizer 2 will now be activated.

Incomedia WebSite X5 Smart Edition with Templates
Make sure you are connected to the Internet, install WebSite X5 from the PC User cover disc, ensuring you click the Install Registered version option. Then, at the product registration step, click the Unlock button. You will be taken to a web page where your computer ID number already appears, type your email address and click Send. Now you will see a second web page. Complete your details on this page including confirming your email address. Type this product code in the Product Code box: E151272358412 and click Send. A unlock code will then be sent to that email address. (If you don't receive the email please check your junk email folder, as these emails are sometimes picked up by spam filters). Copy and paste the unlock code from the email into the installation screen and click Next to unlock the installation so you can install the full version program. When you have installed and launched the program DO NOT click the Upgrade option. This will install a very limited trial version over the top of your registered version. If this were to happen, uninstall the program and reinstall it. If you do want to upgrade the program, purchase the upgrade through our special offer. Download the template pack, save it in the installation folder that WebsiteX5 is installed in, run the file to install the templates. When you launch the program the templates will be available to you.

Balesio PPTminimizer 3.0 Personal Edition
Ensuring you are connected to the Internet, install PPTminimizer 3.0 from the PC User cover disc. With your web browser, visit http://www.balesio.com/pcuser.php, click "Request Licence" and fill in the online form. Make sure you include a valid email address as the registration code will be sent to that address. (If you don't receive the email please check your junk email folder, as these emails are sometimes picked up by spam filters). Now run PPTminimizer 3.0, after which you will be prompted for registration information. Cut and paste the serial number and two other fields from the email sent to you, into the form on the registration screen.

Ensure you are connected to the Internet and install Paragon Hard Disk Manager from our cover disc. During the installation process you'll be prompted to enter a Product Key and Serial Number. Just click on the Registration link and fill in your details and click Submit. Make sure you enter a valid email address because your registration key will be sent to that email address. (If you don't receive the email please check your junk email folder, as these emails are sometimes picked up by spam filters). When you receive the email with the Product Key and Serial Number, open it and copy these from the email and paste them into the boxes on the Paragon Hard Disk Manager screen and click Next.

Ashampoo WinOptimizer 2009
First, make sure you are connected to the Internet. Now install Ashampoo WinOptimizer from our cover disc. During the installation process make sure "Get full version key" is checked, and your Web browser will go straight to the registration site. Here, enter a valid email address in the form provided. Install Font Manager from our cover disc and then run it. A splash screen will appear reminding you to register your software. Click the Enter Registration Key button, and then copy and paste the code below (between "begin key" and "end key") into the dialog that appears. This will unlock the full version.
