The best online computer store in Australia? From the number of suggestions put forth it's obvious there's no clear winner.
Experience has taught me that no store is consistently cheaper across the whole range of products. If you take the time to look through the list of suggestions made by visitors to this site though , you'll invariably find a store that sells whatever it is you're after for around 10% cheaper than everyone else.
Obviously it's pointless to save yourself $20 on an item if it's going to cost you $25 to have it freighted to you. For this reason I'd suggestion you track down the websites for all computer stores in the city in which you live, find the one that sells what you're looking for cheapest, order it, and go and pick it up yourself. The majority of online stores to have shop fronts in the real world too. Of course, if you're from regional Australia this isn't an option; to you my only suggestion is take the time to seek out the deals online. Every store has daily/weekly specials, and chances are one will have what you're after at reduced cost - perhaps enough even to offset the cost of freight.

Those Sydneysiders among us are spoilt for choice. Judging exclusively by price, my top three Sydney stores are:

Adelong problems

I used Adelong to order some parts - ordering done OK, asked for quotes on assembly, but this was ignored. Also asked for invoice to go to a different address (they agreed but ignored this later). Delivered a week later, but missing half order. Chased up for two weeks - eventually they told me they were out of stock. I will not use them again. Despite knowing the salesman's name and email, he sometimes took 2-3 working days to respond to questions like: "Where's the rest of my order?"
