I have tried over and over to tell them to stop using my e-mail.
So I looked on one that they had on mine and got who it was and where they lived, they lived in a differnt state. So I changed there
e-mail address to something they have to figer out and deleted all e-mails that he had of mine and gave him a new name and passward. That should help me. I don't get in other peoples mail so they shouldn't get in mine!

(That means you were careless with your password and they have taken over the account. You have lost it. Get another one if you can be trusted to keep it secret this time. Or perhaps not. -PZ)

(That's one way Sweety. You clearly p't your email adderess in that post and someone could have used it to spoof you. Keep a low profile. But in your case are you sure it isn;t simply someone using your account? Chamge your password immediately and don't tell anyone. -PZ)

i have no solution but someone is using mine for credit card bills and any other accounts they have, they are also using it to send my contacts weird messages.

Someone has just emailed all of my contacts with a badly worded ad for handbags/accessories. I have deleted all of my contacts from the system and will keep their email addresses separately in my address book. A nuisance, but I hope it helps.

(If yoiur password is compromised, change it and your secret question immediately and then don't tell anyone. Is that such a hard concept?

I opened an email that said temporary job and it was work from home from UK, every since then the a-hole sends the add to students in the UK and they of course answer to me now. Then he sent an email to all of my personal contacts telling them I was in England and lost my wallet and needed money ASAP. Even to some of my customers. Hope it doesn't cost me more than a couple of thousand dollars in loss. AOL doesn't care since I am using the free email address. There's nothing I can do, can't afford to change my address and start all over.

my email adress shows that i am signed in to another computer whenever i,m on line or not sometimes and some folks see all sorts of unpleasant photos and invitations from my email.can you distroy that bastard for me

Well they could be tracked and they should be found and disposed of. Too much time and money is being spent on trying to stop misuse of the Internet to deliver spam or worse to try to rob people. Neither the large companies or the governments of the USA or Europe or the USSR are prepared to do anything about this. This misuse is coming through Yahoo etc and of course they could do something. The time and money that is wasted on trying to stop hacking, phishing, and spam could be used to help those in the World who really need help. Really need Food, Really need work, Really need medicine, Really need shelter.
What we have to put up with is scum of the worse kind. No! destroy them! And good ridance

You Can't. If someone is a loser/low life enough to want to use your name/address, or to hack into accounts, they will find ways. Hotmail, Yahoo , etc can't and won't do anything to help unless it involves money being taken from you.

You might try shutting down your email address for a while and see what happens. It that is not helpful, close it permanently and open a new address.

I have the same problem with my msn account. Each day I recieve hundreds of return amil that look like I sent it...some with viruses in them. Mostly they are for refinancing of property. All of it is SPAM. I have emailed the header of each one...a very time consuming endever...to MSN. Unfortunately, it seems there is nothing they can do. I have noticed Hotmail and MSN seems to be the most used for this spamming activity. I might have to get rid of it to stop it. It's way out of control!

I've started using a digital certificate to sign my email and sometime encrypt it.

I have encountered a similiar problem. I receive emails from an institute informing me that the Netsky virus was found in an email attachment I had sent.

The poroblem is, I never sent an email on the day, using that address (isp) and no attachments.

My ISP informed me there is nothing I can do, just add the address to the blocked list.
