Can someone show me how to connect your xbox to the medion computer?
Because the sound and everything is there, except I don't know how to change it to that channel.
Biraj Shrestha, ,

I'll read between the lines here and guess that you have a Medion Media Center computer. That is, it has a TV tuner card amongst other things.
You also have an Xbox and want to play games on it using the computer's monitor and sound capability.
This is an unbelievably common question and I've never worked out why. At worst a games console puts out an analog TV signal which is meant to be viewed on an older TV. I said }at worst" because that is a very poor way to view the picture compared to using a direct video connection, of which HDMI or DVI is the best way. Put subjectively, these are the effective quality levels when comparing the different connection methods. (This is an indication only. 10 is best and 1 is worst..)
Subjective picture quality
Games console connected to:
Connect to | Connection method | Picture quality |
| TV | Analog TV lead (RF or antenna lead) | 2 |
| TV | Composite video (yellow) | 4 |
| TV | S-Video lead | 6 |
| TV | Component video leads | 8 |
| TV | DVI or HDMI lead | 10 |
| Monitor | VGA lead | 8 |
| Monitor | DVI or HDMI lead | 10 |
| PC | Analog TV input (Antenna lead) | 1 |
| PC | Composite video (yellow) into TV tuner card | 2 |
Of course the method you use depends on the outputs you have on the games console and the inputs you have on the display device. But always try to use the best combination.
I know that some people don't have a separate TV set, but in most cases they do. So why not connect the games console to that? But let's say it's for use in a bedroom where space is limited, then at least connect the games console directly to the monitor. The picture quality will be vastly better.
But if you have to use the media centre PC, then at least plug the console in using a composite video cable. That way the picture will be better and you won't need to tune the TV in the PC.
But somehow I think you'll still want to use the TV tuner. Why? I don't know. I just don't know..
