I recently purchased a Gainward GeForce4 Ti 4200 video card with 64M RAM. When I took it out of the box, however, I found that my monitor plug wouldn't fit into any of the connections (there are three -- VGA/out, TV/out, and DVI/out). The monitor is a LCD display, Gateway brand. The video cards specifications say that it has a 'DVI plug for LCD monitors', but mine wont fit. Is this because mine is an older monitor (only about 3 years old) or because I need an adapter for it work?

It has diagrams and descriptions of the various DV interfaces. If this doesn't answer your questions, get back to us with details of the type of connector on the LCD and the card.
