Maybe someone has an idea how I can get around my problem.
I'm playing Flight Sim and I always use two screens to play the game. But due to my slow pc, I got too annoyed and set up a new duo core PC (which I believe is satisfactory enough) with a very good AGP videocard.
My old PC is Pentium4 so its really slow. I used a normal crt monitor which is semi flat. My second monitor is a 29" TV and the only video Port is S-video which I'm using to connect to my PC.
My new PC has no S-video, only HDMI, DVI and DVI-I.
Does anyone have any bright ideas how i can connect my TV to my PC?
Thanks.

That's an interesting question.
Downconverting to S-video is a terrible waste of the quality you would otherwise have Allan. That really would give terrible results. (And it wouldn't be cheap. See
here for example.)
Even that old CRT monitor is sounding pretty dated nowadays.
If money wasn't an object I'd suggest that you buy two new or second hand, identical LCD monitors and use those.
An advantage of buying second hand or obsolete monitors is that for you application you don't mind them being non-widescreen. That is, 4:3 ration instead of 16:9.
Just looking through the current price list for one Australian retailer (
MSY) I can see the following monitors (which do happen to be widescreen).
18.5” 5ms LG DVI W1943TE-PF $132 (Australian)

And the larger 21.6” 5ms DVI Acer G225HQBD $169 (Australian)
Since these monitors have both DVI and VGA ports you can connect them in dual-monitor mode to your graphics card. Use the DVI cable for one and a DVI-I to VGA cable on the other.
