Since I got my new Dell computer with Windows Seven I have rediscoivered Checkers. It's a fun game to play.

However I am dismayed at the number of opponents who cheat when they are the first to move.

As you know there are eight possible first moves, at least four of which are cheat moves. If they start this way I simply ignore the game and let them sit watching the screen.

You say that half of the possible first moves are cheat moves/ How on earth do you arrive at that conclusion?

Okay, I don't agree with people who say that there are cheats in Backgammon, but how on earth can anyone cheat in Checkers?

And you say you refuse to move. What a low-life thing that is. The other person has started a game in good faith but has to wait until they realise you're a goon, then exit the game.

Out of interest, what are these cheat moves and how can they be cheating
?
