Game won't install

i juz bought sims 2 .
i insert my disc. my cd-rom cannot read at all. but i insert other games . it can reads.
my com definetly can support this game but is juz cant read?

 That's easy. Go to the shop AND BUY THE LEGITIMATE GAME.

You obviously have a ripped-off copy of the game and you expect us to assist you in your theft. Tough!
If that was a legitimate game you'd take it back to the shop for a replacement wouldn't you. Or you'd at least contact the manufacturer for help.

If it is a cd disc you need to clean the disc or exchange it for a new one as this cd disc is just bought.

"Sims 2" has the unfortunate option...........of only being allowed...to be installed on 1 computer, only.
Unfortunate, that is, for you.
Yours was not the first one it (Sims 2) was played on, sounds like.
The real owner has also probably registered it as well, so, it's a 'double-whammy'...for you.
I agree with PZ, go buy a legit version.
While you're at it, Anon.......take the time, to read up on.......how many people have "Sims 2".....and have so much trouble with it, because they can't be bothered......to read up on "How to install it properly!"....as well as "How to uninstall it". The other thing that springs to mind is:
He says cd-rom drive.
Does this game come on CD or DVD ? If it comes on DVD and he only has a CD-Rom drive, that would also explain it.
Based on some of the service available from some places that sell computer games, I would also ask online before going back to them. Mind you, I won't buy from them anymore anyway.
